Scott Taylor

Scott who has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Development has worked with the YMCA for 24 years in a variety of capacities with the Tiffin YMCA, YMCA of Greater Toledo, Butler County YMCA, the Akron Area YMCA, the GLOW YMCA and the Lake County YMCA. Also he spent six years with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Recently, he was the Chief Advancement Officer of the Lake County YMCA responsible for $1 million in fundraising as well as implementing an $8 million capital campaign to build a new YMCA in Willoughby Ohio to replace its existing facility.

Prior to Lake County, he served as the CEO of the GLOW YMCA in Western New York. There he was responsible for a $3.2 million association consisting of three branches and a camp facility. Before leaving for New York, he worked for the Akron Area YMCA for 8 ½ years and was responsible for building the University Park YMCA on the campus of Summa Hospital.

Scott is excited about serving the mission of the Habitat for Humanity organization: seeking to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Kristina Nicholas

A native Ohioan, Kristina joined HFHMV in 2015. Her passion for the arts and charitable work along with 23 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, special event coordination, and grant writing in both the for-profit and non-profit realms have been key in her role as Director of Development. She has worked with various organizations across the country and brings excitement and creativity to the Mahoning Valley community. She currently serves on the board for the Youngstown Chapter of the Awesome Foundation and can be found knitting, crafting or creating mixed media art in her spare time.

Heather Norris

Heather is the Finance Manager. She brings more than 15 years of volunteer and work experience with non-profits and organizations. She grew up in Columbiana County and now resides in Damascus. Heather loves being involved in her community and is excited to be working with Habitat to help improve lives in the Mahoning Valley.

Petrina Armstrong

Holding the ReStore Manager position in Struthers the past four years, Petrina actually started her Habitat career as a volunteer nine years ago. She graduated from Campbell High School and now lives in Struthers, happily married for 14 years, with her husband, two kids, four cats, and two dogs. She enjoys gardening and working on special project around the house with supplies from the ReStore.

Elaina attended Youngstown State University and graduated with a degree in anthropology and geology. She brings invaluable retail and visual merchandising experience to HFHMV. She currently lives in Columbiana and loves a good joke, spending time outdoors and traveling. You can find her most likely running around the Salem ReStore.

Meg lives in Poland (Ohio) and is currently studying Public Relations at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Her favorite thing in the world is going home to her three dogs. You can find her antiquing on the weekends, hanging out with friends, or restoring her historical home. Joining the Habitat team was the best opportunity she’s ever been given!

Dennis Johnson - ReStore Warehouse Supervisor, Struthers

DENNIS JOHNSON

Dennis joined the HFHMV staff five years ago after retiring from the Youngstown Developmental Center. As the ReStore Supervisor, he is in charge of donations, pricing, sales, and volunteers. He’s a YSU graduate with a major in Economics. Dennis lives with his wife in Struthers, has two children and five grandchildren. According to Dennis, the best thing about working for Habitat is the way everyone comes together as a team to make decisions.
