Scott Taylor
Scott who has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Development has worked with the YMCA for 24 years in a variety of capacities with the Tiffin YMCA, YMCA of Greater Toledo, Butler County YMCA, the Akron Area YMCA, the GLOW YMCA and the Lake County YMCA. Also he spent six years with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Recently, he was the Chief Advancement Officer of the Lake County YMCA responsible for $1 million in fundraising as well as implementing an $8 million capital campaign to build a new YMCA in Willoughby Ohio to replace its existing facility.
Prior to Lake County, he served as the CEO of the GLOW YMCA in Western New York. There he was responsible for a $3.2 million association consisting of three branches and a camp facility. Before leaving for New York, he worked for the Akron Area YMCA for 8 ½ years and was responsible for building the University Park YMCA on the campus of Summa Hospital.
Scott is excited about serving the mission of the Habitat for Humanity organization: seeking to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Our Construction Manager, Josh, grew up in McDonald, Ohio. Has a Construction Trades Program degree from New Castle School of Trades and an Associate of Science Degree from Kent State University.
He’s a four year Navy Veteran. During his service, Josh was an Aviation Electrician that worked on Seahawk Helicopters and also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His hobbies include anything outdoors from hunting, fishing, and hiking and has recently been doing a lot of biking. Josh enjoys spending time with his son, Hunter, two dogs (Donnie and Daisy who are both boxers), and a girlfriend, Danielle who is a nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
